The mum of one took to Twitter today, May 12, 2016 to put rumours to rest tweeting, "I'm not pregnant. But thanks for the best wishes in advance."
Recall that the newly married actress told Genevieve magazine she's going to have a baby for her second husband.
In her words, "I am going to have a baby for him, he deserves it."
The actress who revealed she met her husband at 14 got married to her husband, Victor February 20, 2016 in a grand ceremony in the popular city of Port Harcourt.
Monalisa was formerly married to Segun Dejo-Richard and theirmarriage crashed in 2009 following domestic abuse. They had a child together.
There's nothing quite like that feeling! Tyra Banks celebrated her first Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, with a sweet post on Instagram featuring herself, her mom, and her baby boy, York Banks Asla.
“I’m hearing, ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ and I can’t believe how lucky I am!” the America’s Next Top Model host
wrote. “Of all the fashionable hats I wear, I love being a #mother the
most. #HappyMothersDay from me and my mama to all the wonderful women of
the world!” In the cute snapshot,
Banks, 42, looks ecstatic as she cradles her son in her arms while her
mom, Carolyn London, smiles over her shoulder at the tiny bundle of joy.
The supermodel revealed in January that she and boyfriend Erik Asla had welcomed their baby boy via surrogate. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” she captioned an Instagram photo of the baby’s knit cap.
“He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin.
As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for
us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone.
York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.” The former FABLife host has been open about her fertility problems.
On an episode of the talk show last year, Banks got emotional as she sympathized with supermodel Chrissy Teigen’s struggles to get pregnant. (The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model welcomed her own little one with husband John Legend this April and also celebrated her first Mother's Day on Sunday.)
"We're
kind of going through this similar thing with IVF," Banks said at the
time. “And, you know, putting needles in your tummy every day and having
to come to work and smile when you feel like you want to throw up and
lay down — I can't believe I'm saying this right now!” York is the first child for both Banks and her photographer beau, who have been together for two years.
The 35-year-old commercial
motorcyclist, Muhammed Kabiru, struggled on with the dagger stuck in his
head till sympathizers assisted him to a hospital where the surgery was
swiftly performed, The Sun reports.
Muhammed's brother, Mustapha Kabiru
narrates that his brother had picked up a passenger to Masaka, a town
in Nasarawa State that borders Abuja, for an agreed fare of #300.
Upon arrival at the destination, and asking for the fare, The Sun
reports that the passenger brought out a dagger and stabbed Muhammed in
the head and ran off. It remained in that position until doctors
surgically removed it after several hours.
Mustapha, narrating how his brother survived the attack said: “Alas, my brother did not fall off the bike, but instead he rode on with the long dagger stuck in his head.” “He
was later taken to Pan Raf Hospital, Nyanya, where doctors led by one
Dr. Odia and other members of staff battled to save his life, through
emergency care."
According to the report,
when Kabiru appeared to have stabilized, the doctors referred him to
another hospital for proper management and care. “An
X-ray of the skull showed the dagger had gone in from the right side of
the face just in front of the ear and was nearly poking out from the
cheek on the other side,” a source at the hospital said. Dr. Biodun Ogungbo,
who was one of the consultant neurosurgeons who performed the surgery,
shared the case through an online platform for Nigerian doctors.
A man, apparently tired of life, decided to take the easy way out by committing suicide but he took a rather curious way of ending it all by climbing to the top of an electric pole.
The
incident which took many by surprise, happened at Adebisi Ogunniyi
Crescent, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, when the man was found early this
morning on his suicidal mission.
Eyewitnesses
say the man looked scary hanging on the top of the pole, screaming that
he was going to jump down as some people frantically called police
officers from the Maroko Division who hurried to the scene to try and
persuade the man to abandon his suicide attempt
This
is not the first time someone would attempt to take the high pole route
to suicide. In March 2015, a naked man was found at the top of a
telecommunication mast in the same Lekki and it took lots of persuasion
for the man to come down.
Russian officials said on Wednesday that Moscow will create three new
divisions to counter NATO’s planned troop buildup in Eastern Europe.
“The Defense Ministry is taking a series of measures
to counter the expansion of NATO forces in direct proximity to the
Russian border,” Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
Shoigu said the new Russian divisions would be formed
by the end of the year. Reuters, citing Russian media, reported that
the Russian divisions would include about 10,000 soldiers each.
Western officials told The Wall Street Journal last
week that NATO will send about 4,000 troops to Poland and the Baltic
states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Monday NATO
was weighing a decision to place more battalions in the eastern member
nations amid rising tensions between the West and Russia.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the
alliance’s planned buildup in the Baltics wouldn’t have happened if
Russia didn’t insert itself into the Ukraine conflict in 2014.
Stoltenberg said NATO’s deployment was a reaction to Russian aggression.
The announcement of heightened military measures on
both sides comes after a serious of incidents in the skies and the
Baltic Sea involving U.S. jets, a U.S. destroyer and Russian warplanes.
Last week, a Russian Su-27 performed a barrel roll
over a U.S. spy plane in the Baltic Sea. Russia said the U.S. plane was
coming too close to a military base and had its transponder turned off.
Su-27s and a military helicopter also simulated
attack passes near the USS Donald Cook, flying up to 75 feet within the
Navy destroyer last month in the Baltic Sea.
Speaking in Brussels on Tuesday, NATO
Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed the alliance would deploy
"batallion-sized" multinational units on a rotational basis in the east.
Andrei
Kelin, a department head at Russia's Foreign Ministry, said the
proposed NATO deployment was a source of concern for Moscow. Russia once
held sway in eastern Europe as the Soviet-era overlord.
"This
would be a very dangerous build-up of armed forces pretty close to our
borders," Kelin told the Interfax news agency. "I am afraid this would
require certain retaliatory measures, which the Russian Defence Ministry
is already talking about."
Russia announced in
January it would create three new military divisions and bring five new
strategic nuclear missile regiments into service.
On
Wednesday, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said the new
divisions would be formed by the end of this year to counter what Moscow
saw as NATO's growing strength.
Russian
media, citing unnamed military sources, said the new Russian divisions
would most likely be motorized rifle ones and number around 10,000
soldiers each.
"The Ministry of
Defence has adopted a series of measures to counter the growing capacity
of NATO forces in close proximity to the Russian borders," Shoigu said
in televised comments.
The new divisions
are likely to be deployed in military districts close to Russia's
borders with Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic states and Finland as well as
Georgia and Azerbaijan.
NATO TO KEEP COURSE
"What we do is defensive, it's proportionate ... And therefore we will continue to respond," Stoltenberg said.
"There can be no
doubt that what NATO does is a reaction to the Russian behavior in
Ukraine. We didn't have any troops in Baltic countries ... before the
illegal annexation of Crimea and Russia's destabilizing activities in
eastern Ukraine."
He was speaking
at news conference with NATO's new Supreme Allied Commander Europe
(SACEUR), General Curtis Scaparrotti, who said he intended to continue
NATO's response so far to what the West sees as a more assertive and
muscle-flexing Russia.
The bloodbath in Ukpabi Nimbo community, Uzo-Uwani
council of Enugu state on Monday, April 25, has left many villagers living in
pain and despair. In a recent visit to the community, reporters and photo
journalist caught up with some of the locals, who narrated the bitter story of
watching the herdsmen slaughter their loved ones right there on their land.
It was learnt that the rampaging Fulani herdsmen attacked
the area killing scores of villagers, mostly farmers, and destroyed property
worth millions of naira. Sources in the area had put the casualty figure at 40,
even as the police was yet to give a definite figure. However, Vanguard had
reported that six more bodies were recovered from the scene of the ugly
incident on Wednesday, April 27, which took the death toll to 46.
The Fulani herdsmen attack comes on the heels of reports of
a non-stop friction between the Farmers and herdsmen over the cattle rustling
and trespassing into farmlands.
According to the reporters, many natives now
live in perpetual fear and pain following the attack of the Fulani herdsmen,
despite heavy security presence in the area.
This
is quite evident in the pictures below:

Rollicking and action-packed, Captain America: Civil War (out
May 6) is a comic book extravaganza that lives up to the hype. The
characters are on point. The plot doesn't require a doctorate degree. At
147 minutes, it manages to move (fairly) briskly. Smart humor is
peppered throughout. All right, let’s just spell it out: This movie
course-corrects nearly everything Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice got wrong.
Perhaps its most impressive accomplishment is
that despite a cast full of Marvel favorites, Captain America isn't just
the title character in name only. Chris Evans’
decidedly square superhero, a former World War II soldier programmed by
the government to be an indestructible figure, still feels like an
outsider even as he dons the red, white and blue. He’s also seething
that his ol’ Brooklyn buddy, James “Bucky” Barnes (Sebastian Stan),
was brainwashed to be an assassin. The character carries that emotional
baggage as the movie lands in Lagos, Nigeria — where he and his cohorts
are on a mission to smoke out some guys up to no good. But one
mercenary's mere mention of Bucky sends the Captain into a
bone-crunching rage. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen)
uses her mystical hocus pocus to fly the villain into a building, and,
well, this all ends very badly for many innocent civilians.
The secretary of state arrives at the Avengers
headquarters with a proposal: From now on, the U.S. government will call
the shots on the superheroes' employment. In order to cut down on the
global destruction, the various caped crusaders will no longer be free
to roam the world to unleash their powers. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is on board with the plan because, as he puts it, “we need to be put in check.” Steely Natasha Romanov/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) sides with him. But Steve Rogers/Captain America is finished following orders and refuses to sign.
A
moral disagreement explodes into a bitter feud. And after Bucky is
punished for a crime he didn’t commit, Captain America goes rogue. Sure,
he has trusty Falcon (Anthony Mackie) as a confidant, and Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp)
returns to bat her eyes at him, but the Captain is essentially alone.
Screw the rules and the hyper-verbal Tony Stark — the vet is determined
to hunt down the man responsible for turning Bucky into an evil Winter
Soldier.
Perhaps you wouldn’t expect such psychologically loaded drama from a Marvel flick. After all, Christopher Nolan isn’t in the director’s chair and creator Stan Lee makes
his requisite cheesy cameo. Putting the characters out of costume for a
few key scenes helps the cause. With all the loud bells and whistles in
these Avengers movies, sometimes we forget that esteemed actors such as
Downey, Johansson, Olsen, Mackie, Don Cheadle (War Machine) and Paul Bettany (Vision) are driving the story. Maybe someday they can all reunite on screen in a movie under a $100 million budget.
Fans will also get a kick out of watching familiar faces emerge and pick a team. The retired Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) gets drawn back in and promptly joins Cap's fight club. Falcon also reins in that pesky outlaw Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). Meanwhile, an intriguing new character named Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) unites with Iron Man because he believes Bucky is responsible for his father’s death.
And
a teenager nearly upstages them all! In the most amusing scene, Stark
shows up in a Queens living room to recruit a wide-eyed, web-slinging
teen named Peter Parker (Tom Holland). Yeah, yeah, yeah: Yet
another Spider-Man is about as necessary as another Kardashian reality
show. But in his tiny role, Holland is charmingly adorkable. (And as a
special bonus, Downey gets to share screen time with Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May. Assume this is as close as we’re going to get to a sequel to the underrated 1994 rom-com Only You.)
Just don’t try to make sense of why, say,
Scarlet Witch aligns with Captain America or why Black Widow scraps her
alliance with the former soldier and stands by Iron Man. Snappy
punchlines asides, many of the characters’ rationales are murky at best.
For that matter, Iron Man working so closely with the government goes
against his rakish, devil-may-care M.O. These inconsistent qualities may
prove bothersome for comic book aficionados and fans of the franchise.
The result of all this infighting is a bone-crunching and
satisfying war in which every superhero has a moment to shine. (Jokes
one, "Everyone's got a gimmick now!") Indeed, it’s a remarkable feat
that the movie rarely feels overstuffed with characters and plots. Even
the chief villain, Daniel Bruhl’s Helmut Zero, is quietly thoughtful yet forceful. He could teach Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor a lesson in how to underplay.
You
don’t have to take a side, though. There’s no right or wrong or even a
lame cop-out ending in which everyone agrees to get along and sing an
all-star version of "Kumbaya." Just root for both teams and enjoy.
"Game of Thrones" aired "Home aired "Home" on Sunday, revealing that Jon Snow is alive and part of the show's sixth season.
Jon Snow is alive in "Game of Thrones" season 6
After 10 months of denial that his character would survive, Kit Harington, who plays Snow on "Game of Thrones," has apologized for lying.
The Lord Commander who was resurrected by the red witch, apologized for lying to his fans in an exclusive interview with EW.
Jon Snow
(Smh)
“I’d like to say
sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he
died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or
it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But it seems like people had
a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which
means something I’m doing or the show is doing, is right,” the actor said.
According to the actor, season six is a massive one for his character. “It’s his biggest season for him so far,” he added.
It was also revealed that Kit Harington spent more days on set this season than any other "GOT" actor.
A 13-year-old boy was saved by the timely
intervention of some officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management
Agency (LASTMA), from certain death as angry traders at the popular
Idumota Market were bent on setting him on fire after he was caught with
stealing in the market.
The
young lad who is said to be the leader of a gang of street urchins
terrorising traders in the market, allegedly confessed that keeps guns
for senior armed robbers who collect them from him anytime they are
going on an operation.
The boy who was beaten with all manners of
weapon, told the traders that he was forced into stealing after his
parents abandoned him. “I was born in this market. My father
and mother are also selling in the market, but they don’t cater for me. I
roam about to eat and fend for myself. About 40 children sleep with me
in shops at night. We wake early to leave the shops before people start
coming for business. Sometimes last year, while I was
playing football with other children, some guys from Jankara area called
me and gave me a gun. They said I should help them keep the gun. They also called one of my friends called Daniel and also gave him guns to keep. We hid the guns in our clothes. There
was a day that they took us to Agege to rob. Daniel and I kept the guns
they used for the robbery operation that day. They have taken us to
other places to rob too. They don’t give us anything."

Five Seattle police injured, nine people arrested after May Day marches
(Reuters)
Five Seattle
police officers were injured and at least nine people arrested on Sunday
night, after unruly demonstrators hurled projectiles and Molotov cocktails and broke windows, authorities said.
Protesters
gather every year on May 1 to focus attention on labor and immigration
issues, but demonstrators in cities across the United States also used the occasion to rally against police violence.
Mayor
Ed Murray blamed the "senseless violence" in Seattle on a "different
crowd" from those who had attended an earlier peaceful May Day
immigration march, however.
It was "deeply
regrettable that in a city that goes to incredible lengths to respect
First Amendment rights, there are some who disregard our values and
engage in senseless acts of violence and property destruction," he said later, referring to free speech protected by the U.S. Constitution.
In
posts on social media website Twitter, the Seattle police department
said one officer had suffered a cut to the head as protesters hurled
Molotov cocktails, another was hit by a rock, and a third officer was
bitten, apparently by a protester.
Injuries suffered by two more officers were not detailed.
"Nobody has been seriously injured," police chief Kathleen O'Toole said after the unrest subsided, adding, "Once assaults started and property damage started, we took action. It's that simple."
Police
said they made arrests in several places and restrained one group in a
parking lot, before allowing some groups to disperse, but would maintain
a presence in the area.
They charged three people
with assault, one with destruction of property and five with
obstruction of justice. Eight men ranging in age from about 20 to 32
were charged, along with a teen-aged girl.
Police
used "blast balls" to disperse a crowd throwing rocks and bottles and
breaking windows in a downtown neighborhood, the Seattle Times newspaper
reported, after they used pepper spray several times to break up
throngs of demonstrators.
The unrest mirrored
violence at a Seattle May Day march last year, when crowds threw bottles
and wrenches at police, who responded with pepper spray and flash
grenades.
Sixteen people were arrested and three
officers hurt in that violence, which similarly erupted after a day of
peaceful demonstrations.
Bombs in Baghdad kill nine, wound 26 - sources
(Reuters)
Three bombs went off in and around Baghdad on Monday, killing nine people and wounding 26 others, police and medics said.
The largest blast, from a parked car bomb in the Saydiya district of southern Baghdad, killed six and wounded 18, the sources said.
Explosives
planted on the ground in Tarmiya, 25 km (15 miles) north of Baghdad,
killed two and wounded six, while a roadside bomb in Khalisa, a town 30
km (20 miles) south of the city, left one dead and two wounded.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for any of the attacks, but Islamic State
militants fighting government forces in the north and west regularly
target civilians and security forces in and around the capital.
Security
has gradually improved in Baghdad, which was the target of daily
bombings a decade ago, but there have been a string of blasts in recent
days, including a suicide attack on Saturday that killed at least 19
people.
Police said Monday's attacks had not
targeted Shi'ite Muslim pilgrims who are walking across the capital this
week to visit the shrine of Imam Kadhim, a revered 8th century
religious figure.

Kenya's president set fire to
thousands of elephant tusks and rhino horns on Saturday, destroying a
stockpile that would have been worth a fortune to smugglers and sending a
message that trade in the animal parts must be stopped.

confiscated from smugglers and poachers at the Nairobi National Park
near Nairobi, Kenya, April 30, 2016. REUTERS/Siegfried Modola TPX IMAGES
OF THE DAY
Plumes
of smoke rose as the flames took hold of tusks piled up in a game
reserve on the edge of the capital Nairobi, destroying 105 tonnes of
ivory from about 8,000 animals, the biggest ever incineration of its
kind.
President Uhuru Kenyatta
dismissed those who argued Kenya, which staged its first such burning in
1989, should instead have sold the ivory and the tonne of rhino horn,
which by some estimates would have an illegal market value of $150
million.
"Kenya is making a statement that for us
ivory is worthless unless it is on our elephants," he told dignitaries
before setting light to the first of almost a dozen pyres.
Kenya
is seeking a total world ban on ivory sales when the Convention on
International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora
(CITES) meets in South Africa later this year as poaching poses an
increasing risk to the species.
CITES banned commercial trade in African elephant ivory in 1989, but since then has permitted one-off sales.
Kenyatta's call for an ivory trade ban was backed by Ali Bongo, president of Gabon, home to the forest elephant.
"To all the poachers, to all the buyers, to all the traders, your days are numbered," Bongo said at the ceremony.
Conservationists
say the original CITES ban, and Kenya's 1989 burning, helped reduce
demand and relieve a crisis for the elephant population but that one-off
legal sales have revived the market.
"EVIL, ILLEGAL COMMODITY"
Illegal
hunting spiked in the three years to 2012 when about 100,000 elephants
were killed, the equivalent of more than 33,000 a year.
In the 1970s, Africa had about 1.2 million elephants, but now has 400,000 to 450,000.
The
situation for rhinos is more precarious. There are fewer than 30,000
left across Africa and one species, the Northern White Rhino, is on the
brink of extinction. The last three are kept in Kenya under heavy guard.
Kenya
relies on tourism, with many drawn to safaris at luxury camps by the
trove of animals Kenya boasts, particularly the "Big Five" - elephant,
rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo.
Renowned
conservationist and anthropologist Richard Leakey urged African and
other nations to destroy their ivory stocks too. To those who refused,
he said: "They are speculators on an evil, illegal commodity. There are
can be no justification for speculating price rises in ivory down the
road."
Pledges last year by China and the United
States, two of the biggest ivory markets, to enact almost complete bans
on imports and exports have helped drive ivory prices lower.
But
rhino horn prices are still rising, conservationists say. Armed patrols
of sanctuaries and other measures have helped curb some illegal hunting
but the animal's future remains grim.
Kenya alone
had 20,000 rhinos in the 1970s, falling to 400 in the 1990s. It now has
almost 650 black rhinos. It is protecting the last three northern white
rhinos as scientists race against time to find artificial reproduction
techniques.
Poachers in Kenya can sell the horns
of a single dead rhino for the equivalent of about $50,000 in local
markets, earning in one night what would take them many years in regular
employment.

After posting suicidal messages on his Instagram this morning (Thursday, April 28, 2016) it has been revealed that Tiwa Savage's husband Tee Billz did try to commit suicide.
According to blogger Linda Ikeji, Tee Billz attempted to take his own life by jumping off the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge today. An eye-witness Chukwuma Ani who spoke to Ikeji said the incident happened around past 9a.m in the morning.

"A car hit his
own from behind, damaging his car. He said he came out of the car and
approached the driver of the vehicle that hit his. He didn't know who
the man was (it was Teebillz) but he said he berated him for hitting his
car and asked the man to come out and assess the damage caused to his
car. The man looked at him and told him to leave...that he was there for
a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide and Chukwuma Ani would
hear about it later..." wrote Linda Ikeji.

She further wrote "Not
knowing who the guy was or understanding why he was talking suicide, Mr
Ani said he kept insisting that the driver must come down from his car
and see the damage he had caused to his car. He said he noticed alcohol
on the floor of the driver's car so thought the man was drunk. He said
while shouting and berating the driver for hitting his car, the guy just
suddenly drove his car with speed to the front.
"Ani
said he got into his own car and gave chase and was surprised to see
the driver of the car parking his car in the middle of the bridge as
other cars drove past. He said he parked in front of the driver and
approached the man again, telling him that he couldn't even apologize
for hitting his car and was instead trying to drive off. He said as he
was berating the man, he (Teebillz) got down from his car and walked to
the bridge railing.

railing and was trying to jump. Mr. Ani said a light skinned guy came
out from the first car and began running towards Teebillz screaming and
that was when he realized what was going on.." further wrote the blogger.
It was reported that Peter Okoye and Banky W joined other people in saving Tee Billz from committing suicide. "I

Prince Harry revealed on Wednesday, April 27, that he received psychological testing after being deployed to Afghanistan in December 2007.
The
British royal had been secretly serving in the British Army for 10
weeks when journalist Matt Drudge revealed the Prince's location on the
Drudge Report. According to The New York Times, the defense
ministry immediately had Harry return home for fear that his presence
would make the British soldiers serving with him a target. Though his
tour of duty was cut short, the royal's encounters in the war zone still
haunt him.
Harry, 31, opened up to Sky News
on Wednesday about how he was scarred by the "images [he has] been
unfortunate to see" during his deployment while discussing his upcoming
Invictus Games, a multisport event that helps bring attention to wounded
soldiers and their journeys toward recovery and rehabilitation.
"You
know, I described it to someone ages ago as one of those slide shows
that go through your mind," he told the outlet. "If you've got a good
imagination as well, everything that you see, especially if it's
something that is quite powerful, then that slide is in there. It's
always in there and if you have dark moments in your life, those slides
will pop up."
Harry explained that during his debriefing session in
Cyprus, he went through mandatory psychological tests. "The army put you
through a day, two-day course on the way back through Cyprus, which is
crucial to everybody," he explained. "There are images I've been lucky
enough not to see, but there have been images that I've been unfortunate
to see, nothing like some of these guys, but, yes, there is a
percentage of me being able to relate to exactly what they go through."
This isn't the first time Harry has opened up about his time serving in the military. The handsome royal told Good Morning America
last month that he was "broken" when he was forced to leave the
war-torn region. “I didn’t know what was going to happen to them," he
said of his squad members. "And then suddenly I find myself on a plane
that’s delayed because a Danish soldier’s coffin was being put onto the
plane."
Following reports of her imminent sack over her topless selfie with a gun which she had shared on Facebook, Officer Nidia Garcia has reportedly turned in her resignation.
Officer
Garcia had become an overnight online sensation after posing for a
topless selfie in her patrol car with a semi-automatic weapon.
The reports reveal
that Garcia, a married mother-of-two had reportedly quit the force in a
bid stop a probe into her personal activities.
Mexican
police in Escobedo confirm that Garcia had been suspended pending an
investigation into the pictures showing her in uniform, flashing her
breasts as she cuddles up to her rifle.
Garcia had
been identified by her superiors who spotted her badge on the right
sleeve of her uniform after they had been alerted of the raunchy photo
on Facebook.
Daily Mirror reports that
prior to the completion of the investigation, Garcia had handed in her
resignation, with the Local council revealing that it had been handed in
on a voluntary basis.
The Police also reveal that as soon as she resigned, the administrative process against her had been halted.
After
Garcia's topless selfie had gone viral, she had posted a confession on
Facebook, admitting to posing for the snap - but denying that she was
responsible for uploading it to social media.
